In need of thoughts and PRAYERS....
Long story short....my mom has been having headaches. Got an MRI last week and today we were admitted into KU Medical center where TWICE now she has fought cancer. She was diagnosed with lymphoma in 1995 and again in 1998 when she had surgeries on her tonsils and muscles in her neck that had the cancer wrapped around them. Today she is awaiting more tests to see why, from the MRI that was done last week, she is leaking fluid from her brain. No injuries, no spinal taps, nothing to give us any reason for the leak. WORSE CASE SENARIO they say is that her cancer from waaaay back then has spread to the bone and has caused a hole. A hole that is leaking. I will go back tomorrow to sit with her, as well as most of my siblings, to find out the results of further testing. Please keep her in your prayers.

Oh Karen, I hope Mom is okay. I'll be thinking of her and praying for her. Let her know we are thinking of her. If nothing else, please email me to keep me informed.

I will definitely keep your mom as well as your family in my prayers. I hope they find an answer and that it is nothing serious. My thoughts and prayers will be with you all.
Karen...I did not know this. I do see that H is a wonderful sister here. It is hard for kids to love thier step parents, and it's understood. I was only telling Kaci, that one day....she'll appreciate all the parents in her life. For anything they did to help her in life.
I didnt know this was your daughter and that changes views a bit, cuz i see how wonderful she is here.
