Today I celebrate the life of my son with Downs Syndrome. Today Tucker reminded me that dust and dirt can wait, BOOKS cannot!
Tucker loves to read books. Turning the pages and having me help him point to the pictures, he could do it all day. Well, today was no different. We had taken our 12 o'clock feed and read some books and when it was done I put him in his playroom (which is the dinningroom converted) and I went into the kitchen to mop the floor. I could hear him grunting and making noise, next thing I know he is under my feet, book in one hand holding it up to me. "READ" What a message...more books mom, no cleaning. I am sooo grateful he enjoys time looking and flipping the pages of books.
