05/20/06 Update

Tucker is doing much better. He is going to the 4th floor today. As much as we love the PICU and all it's nurses, we hope not to see them, other than a friendly HELLO, for the next year or two. Tucker slept well last night. They pulled his drain tubes this morning and is on his way out the door. He is very red from the shoulders up, the blood flow takes a while for the Kido's to get used to. They put is pain medications back on board 2 days ago....DAAAAA. I got to give him a sponge bath last night and get him into some jammies, his head was sweaty and needed a better smell. He enjoyed it and went right off to sleep after. He is tolerating his feeds and has not had any set backs. His left arm seems a little bit colder than it should be but they did an ultrasound on it and there isn't any clots or anything they are concerned about. His left leg did the same thing after his initial surgery and it got better over time.
I have posted a picture of Tuck. This was taken on Thursday. He will continue to look better and better. He already looks better than this picture. I will post more pictures as I take them. Thank you everyone for praying for him and thinking of us!
