Tucker slept for 24 hours straight with little bit of awake time...finally. His color is a lot better, he is pink and warm. Todd and I went home to sleep in our own bed last night since Tucker was resting so well. Today will be the same I think. They put in a central line yesterday so we won't have to try for labs each day. They loaded him up on fluids, the Rota virus is causing him to be dehydrated. This morning, however, they had to get rid of it because it was effecting his heart. A balance that is closely monitored. Our nurse this morning, Frannie, gave Tuck a bath and changed his bandages and he went right back to sleep. I hope when he wakes he smiles......a sure sign of feeling better.
