5 minutes for special needs put this out there.....reclaim yourself. Reclaim the time for YOU, the mother, the wife. Make time to do those things that you deserve, not only for you but for your family. I agree. I am tired of being put on the back burner. I go months without a hair cut because I don't have the time or room in the schedule, working out...yea right unless I sacrifice my sleep and that just isn't happening. I am putting myself up on the list.
In no particular order:
I will meet with my friends more, lets say once a month for something WITHOUT KIDS.
I will do some kind of exercise 3 times a week, even if it means walking up and down the stairs one extra time.
I will do a facial mask once a month--(little pamper there)
I will take the time to shave my legs more than I do now. (not going to say--too embarrassing)
I will take the time to use lotion in the mornings and smell good stuff to make myself smell FABULOUS. (PINK at Victoria Secret is AWESOME..found it on clearance after Christmas)
I will take atleast 10 min a day to read, whether it is just before bed or while I wait at an appointment. (note to self: put book in purse)
I will work on my relationship with my Heavenly Father and bring him into my life daily, not just when I want him to be.
