OK, I didnt take Tucker to Mercy, I called the peditrician and with all the RSV around we opted to wait and see. I dont want him getting anything or exposed to anything....lord knows we catch it if it is exposed to us. So, no fevers with the rash so we are waiting. Hunter ended up with a torn ACL and has to stay away from runnning, jumping and twisting in her knees for 5 weeks. They gave her a brace to wear when participating in activities after that 5 weeks. She showed fluid behind the knee and it was much more lose in the joint than the other leg....so....we have a note for PE and she should be good to run track in the Spring.
Tonight was bath night and we are working on a few goals with the communication study we are doing. One is to learn the meaning of DUMP and the other is to sign or say the word WATER. Our goal is for Tucker to have a routine at bath and ASK for the water to be put in the tub. Tonight I got the hand to the faucet and a vocal "UH"-just what we wanted. I signed water and guess what....Tucker did a sign as well...more and WATER!!! Yup, it is not exactly but man he did it every time I asked for more water in the tub. I have a video of some of the signs he knows. It seems he has really caught on to the signs that he watches every morning....like someone turned on the light and here they are. So, now we have milk, water, more, baby, apple, and bath in our signing vocabulary....WAY TO GO TUCKER!! (During this video Hunter has shown up with a bag of chips and has started feeding them to Tucker, as you can see he is much more interested in getting more chips than paying attention to me....however sissy makes him say baby before he got his next bite--just a little incentive.
