Tucker time

Now that the holidays are behind us, the trees are put away and all the running is done....we are back to working hard. Tucker continues to get stronger every day. He is sitting up more and more and each day he gets closer to crawling. His legs can hold his weight and he loves that. It wont be long and this little guy will be without restraints and be everywhere. He is so much fun. He has become such a sweetheart, onery but sweet. I took a picture of his big front teeth, you dont see them much because his lip covers them. He now has 10 teeth! Yea, a mouth full. He will be 16 months old on the 11th. Amazing. I have also included a picture of his Mic Key button for those of you that dont know what it looks like. It looks so much better than the tube hanging off him (like in the last bath pictures). It is much easier to use and keep up with.
An update on overall health. Tucker will undergo an eye surgery sometime in the next 6 months or so. As you can see in the pictures, his left eye is always red. He has a blocked tear duct and it requires a lazer surgery to fix. At that same time we will have to have his "pee pee" fixed yet again. The skin has gotten stuck and we will have to have it pulled back and stitched in place. It seems it is always something. I feel really bad about the "fixing" because I should have been more proactive on the prevention of it. We try and try and it seems something falls through the cracks.
New years brought yet more resolutions-hopefully I can fill some of them this year. One is that Todd and I get a date night once a month. We have been put on hold for almost 2 years now and it is time to take care of us and our relationship. We also started a "good things" calendar. Each day we are to write down one good thing that happened that day. When we look back in a year we will have a year of good things....keep our minds on the good in life and not the bad.
I hope you enjoy the pictures and the little update on Tucker.
