Sorry so long since the last update. Tucker was moved back to 4Sutherland last night about 7:00. His echocardiogram came back with good heart function. He will be on increased doses of captopril and digoxin for his heart. They want his heart rate around 130 or lower (It was at 180) and his blood pressure at 80/30.
I spent the night with Tuck last night. After finally getting to sleep at midnight, Tucker woke up at 3am with a fever. After drawing blood and urine again, we found that his white blood count is up and fighting infection somewhere. Antiobotics have been put into play now also. He is miserable once again. At 1:00 today we have an appointment to go down to radiology and get a new i.v. put in and pull the existing one. They believe the existing one is causing the infection. Feels as though we take two steps forward and 3 back-but his heart is in a much better spot now than when we were first admitted.
