A Journey Worth Sharing

William Charles Tucker Bryant was born September 11, 2005. Early in our pregnancy Tucker was diagnosed with Downs Syndrome. Each week thereafter became a mountain of tests to determine what types of things we were going to have to prepare ourselves for. With grace on our side, Tucker's only major worry would be his heart. As seen in one the pictures, Tucker did have to have heart surgery shortly after he was born, but did recover well and continues to thrive to this day. There are trials here and there, but isn't that what raising a child is?

Tucker spent a few months in the hospital, but that did not keep him and his family from celebrating the holidays in between. An adorable pumpkin he was for Halloween.

Each week he is getting stronger and more handsome. He still has a feeding tube to help keep his food intake going well. He has now figured out that he can tug on it and of course mommy and daddy discourage that right from the start.

Tucker's life is full of joy and laughter. He loves to play with toys and of course his big sister Hunter loves to play with him.

He is growing up so fast, right before our eyes. He is so alert and interactive and as shown, can lift his head very well. We can't wait until he begins crawling and walking.

Our lives are very much complete. Our children mean the world to us and their happiness is thanks enough.
